The Ministry

Taking the Gospel to Remote Places

Dennis ministers among farmers and families living in remote communities throughout Peru.

His primary work is in the Andes Mountains, where he ministers in the villages of Manás and Huacar and travels through more than ten additional villages between the coast and the mountains.

He also began ministry in the rainforest in 2026, including the village of San Hilarion, approximately one hour from the larger city of Tarapoto.

The Andes

Manás

Located approximately 8,000 feet above sea level, Manás is home to approximately 150 people.

Dennis began walking through the mountain villages, sharing the Gospel and leading people to Christ. As believers gathered together, a church was established.

Today, Templo Bautista holds three services each week when Dennis is in Peru, along with Bible studies and family visits.

The church averages approximately 30 people on Sundays and has seen attendance as high as 50.

A pastor from Lima also travels to Manás once each week to conduct a service and help oversee the work when Dennis is away.

Huacar

Dennis also ministers in the mountain village of Huacar, located approximately 9,000 feet above sea level.

The work involves evangelism, Bible teaching, visiting families, and helping believers grow in their faith.

Reaching Other Villages

Dennis regularly travels through more than ten additional villages between the coast and the mountains where he works.

Transportation through the mountains is one of the greatest challenges of the ministry. Traveling to these remote communities requires time and financial resources, but it provides opportunities to share the Gospel and teach God’s Word with people who might otherwise have little opportunity to hear it.

The Rainforest

San Hilarion

In July 2026, Dennis was invited to visit the rainforest village of San Hilarion.

During his week there, approximately 300 children heard the Gospel and called upon the Lord.

The visit opened a new door for ministry.

Dennis now hopes to return to disciple these young believers, establish a Gospel-preaching church, and develop a children’s home for orphaned and unwanted children.

The rainforest represents a new chapter in the ministry—but the mission remains the same:

Reach. Disciple. Establish. Send.

The Gospel Doesn’t Stop at Salvation

Dennis’ ministry is not simply about traveling to Peru and preaching.

His goal is to see people:

  • Hear the Gospel.
  • Receive Jesus Christ.
  • Grow in God’s Word.
  • Become part of a local church.
  • Reach others with the Gospel.

This is how the Gospel continues from one generation to the next.

ONE LIFE. ONE FAMILY. ONE VILLAGE AT A TIME.
